ICNY “I’D RATHER BE RACING..” T-SHIRT
This just in from the homies at ICNY. Not only is the graphic rad, it’s also reflective to make sure that when you indeed are racing in the streets — you’re visible! More info below:
"Own the streets in our much anticipated ICNY x Starter x GLX capsule collection. Derived from our creative directors everyday route to work, the up’s and downs, close calls and fast moving streets of NYC."
SATURDAY SCENES: MT HAMILTON
Mount Hamilton is the tallest mountain overlooking Silicon Valley. The 19-mile road rises over 4,000 feet and and was originally built in 1875 to carry materials and equipment for the anticipation of Lick Observatory. It features 365 curves, one for each day of the year.
The photographs above are from my first time up to the observatory, and definitely won’t be the last.
GROUP RIDE: PROSPECT PARK - SNOW MUCH FUN
It was one of those days where I kept deciding between the trainer or outside. Trainer? Or outside. Enjoy snowy slushy photos from outside. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a bike to clean.
RIDES: NYE BROOKLYN TO BEAR
2013 had its ups and downs, so Don and I decided to head to bear for one more up, and one more down. Luckily, we survived the 4.5 hours in the low 20°F’s. Here’s to more ups and more downs for 2014. Happy New Year, everyone.
SATURDAY SCENES: NYACK-BOUND, THE HILLY WAY
Blessed in NYC with another “warm” winter day for riding bikes. Unexpected guest appearances, broken spokes, and all the hills made for a great group ride.
