COLNAGO C35 ORO
The only thing more balleur than a 1989 35th anniversary Colnago, is a 1989 35th anniversary Colnago with a full Campagnolo C-Record groupset to match in all gold. Head over to Cycling Tips for the full scoop.
COLNAGO CT2 HP
A very balleur version of my ‘nag found on for all my friends.
DRIVESIDE: DREAM UPDATE.
I decided to dress the Colnago with new shoes and came across a new pair of Mavic Ksyrium SLRs for a pretty decent deal. The first ride was spent dialing in the brake pads in an effort to attempt to minimize and eliminate the horrific death-of-a-baby-banshee screech that filled the neighborhood during every attempt to use the brakes — which I expected based on all the useful internet reviews I read prior to purchase. After some success with the brake noise elimination and two rides later, I’m confident that my investment in these stealthy sexy suckers was a good choice. Besides, doesn’t everybody need a great pair of all black shoes? Happy weekend everyone.
TWO YEARS AGO, TODAY: COLNAGO PISTA
About two years ago, my first dream bike got destroyed and I wanted needed a worthy replacement. Hello Colnago #1 (of 3). Can’t believe it’s been two years. Time flies when you’re riding bikes.
WED RIDE: SUNNY, SIXTIES, SHORTS
Got to leave work early to take advantage of what has been the nicest day so far this year. You know it’s nice out when you survive with just bib shorts and short sleeve jersey. Sweet.
COLNAGO DREAM HP 2.0
Recently made some upgrades to the road bike. I decided to upgrade the old (10-speed Centaur) group and go 11-speed with Chorus. So far so good. Maybe a comparison of 10 vs 11 speed in the near future once I put in some miles on the group. Until then, see you on the road.
