CYCLEANGELO

(P)REVIEW: THE BLINK/STEADY BIKE LIGHTLet’s be honest. Bike lights can be ugly, unreliable, easy stolen, pains in the asses for the most part. I personally have never owned a set of lights that I was extremely happy with, specifically from a design standpoint. Luckily, a group of bike riding Brooklynites consisting of an industrial designer, a machinist, and an electrical engineer collaborated to bring us the Blink/Steady Bike Light.
It uses an accelerometer to determine when you’re moving, as well as an ambient light sensor to know when it’s dark outside to automatically turn itself off and on. Pretty amazing technologies being incorporated into bicycle lights right? And to top it all off, they look fvcking spectacular, and are made in the USA. Pretty rad.

The only question left to answer is if these puppies are worth the $95 price tag. Only time will tell, as they have not hit the streets yet, but they definitely look promising. In the meantime, check out the website for more info.
