Kinfolk Open House
I’ve been a huge fan of the Kinfolk bicycle company for quite a while now, and made it a point to stop by the open house. Free beers, great art, and a good vibe at 90 Wythe last night. WatchVIDEO: CHROME KURSK PRO As much as I love my SIDI’s, I wouldn’t mind having a pair of SPD compatible shoes that look like regular sneakers. These look super promising, and hell, if the Cycle Hawk messengers put them to work this past winter, then they must be good. Check out the video!

NEW BIKE DAY: COLNAGO DREAM PISTA
I was really surprised how excited everyone was to find out about what my new frame would be after I sold the Track. Sorry to keep you waiting! Due to the the lack of Italian threaded square tapered bottom brackets in NYC, it took a little to longer to finish than expected.

WatchINSPIRATION: THE SARTORIALIST I’ve always enjoyed and been inspired by Scott Schuman’s work, but what I think I appreciate most is his approach to creating his images. I love interviews with the man/woman behind the lens, and respect his humility and love for the photograph. Definitely worth the watch. Now go outside and take some photos!

SNAPS: Sunday in BK
What began as a 2 person meetup for selling parts, turned into an 8 person group ride around Brooklyn. Stopped by 718 Cyclery and did a lap around Prospect Park soon after. Here’s to amazing weather (finally).
